I don't know why, but today I'm having one of those days where you are very thoughtful about life. I keep thinking about friends, family, the loved ones that I left in Brazil and the friends that I made here in the USA these past few years. I've been thinking about my personal life, my childhood and those things that have made me who I am. I'm not sad; I actually have been having a very good day. I believe that there's a reason for everything, even if we don't understand. I believe that even those we meet during our journey here are for a reason and I know that there are friends that are in our lives to stay, but there are those that will come and go. There are those that will make a difference and will always have a special place in your heart. There are some that will just show up to teach us a lesson, some won't be as important. I just hope that my friends know how much they mean to me. I guess I'm just thankful for all...the bad moments, the trials, the uncertainty, the very happy moments, all those things that makes life an adventure. I think life is so good! We have our goals in life, but I believe that we all have a mission as well. I hope that I'll be able to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ and the living prophets. I know that I will achieve some goals but I hope I will accomplish my mission here. All I can say is that life is so worth living and SHARING!! Sharing is my favorite word! It's so good to "share"...that's why I have this blog and that's why I'm writing all this...to share my gratitude for all the blessing I have with all of you.
"We can lay down our lives for those we love not by physically dying for them but rather by living for them-giving of our time; always being present in their lives; serving them; being courteous, affectionate, and showing true love for those of our family and to all men-as the Savior taught."
