Birhtday girls!

I can't believe we are already in mid June!! It's been a great month so far. I've been doing lots of things with the kids. I made a goal that I would go on lots of walks and ride my bike a lot this summer. Since the weather hasn't been so great, I've been trying to find indoor places to go with Nichael. You would think that Utah would have a lot of indoor activities since it snows half of the year, but go figure. We have been to the theater, which was another success. We watched UP and Nichael really liked it although the highlight of the day was actually the preview of Toy Story 3!! Nichael was soooo excited! I can't wait to take him to that movie!
Last week I took Nichael to the Tree House Museum in Ogden and he had lots of fun. The place is full of activities for kids of all ages. They have dress-up clothes spread throughout the place and you see little kids walking around wearing then, it's so fun. They also have a craft area where kids can sit down and work on projects... I thought that was a really cute idea. Nichael ran around, played with blocks, trains, trucks, knight, and even wore a knight outfit. I'll post some pics.
On June 7th Khloe completed 5 months old. She's doing so great. She's already all over the place scooting around the floor to reach for toys.
On June 8th it was my birthday and I had a great birthday weekend.
On Friday I went to celebrate with friends and I had a really good time. On my actual birthday, which was Monday, a friend watched Khloe while Nichael stayed with grandpa and Tim and I went out to dinner. It was good to have some time alone, though we missed our kids a lot. We don't go out a lot by ourselves, so we're used to always having our kids around. It was a very quiet dinner, lol... I know that you should always find time to "date" but we really don't mind taking our kids everywhere we go. I do have to admit that once in a while is good to be just the two of us. We had a wonderful dinner!
